GATHERING FOR RE-MEMBERING:
A MissionWorks & Pastoral Thriving
HIGHLIGHTS

TABCOM/MBMM held Gathering for Re-Membering: A MissionWorks & Pastoral Thriving Event from September 30, 2022 until October 1, 2022 and it was a great success.

We appreciate everyone who attended, facilitated and contributed to this wonderful Mission-led event.

Special thank you to Rev. Roberto Paiva and the Rivers of Living Water International Church (MIRAV) family for hosting us, Rev. Christine Keddy (TABCOM Director of Missions) and Rev. Ngozi Robinson (MBMM Associate Director) for coordinating the event, and Rev. Leroy Mahoney (Pastor at FBC Saugus & CEO/ Founder of Community Tech Care Corporation) for making sure that our tech ran smoothly.

The day began with 8 Ethnic Clergy Groups, then Melanie Baggao held her workshop entitled, Life and Ministry in Lebanon.

The group headed over to Fore Kicks Sport Complex Marlborough for lunch and some friendly competition (soccer, volleyball, basketball, and cornhole). It was such a fun time. Everyone met back at the church for a powerful Worship experience and a sermon by Brian Williams, Program Director in the Religion Division of Lilly Endowment Inc.

Saturday began with a wonderful breakfast by the MIRAV family followed by some powerful workshops by Rev. Sandra Dorsainvil (Virtual Mission Trips from IM), Rev. Maggie Lewis & Rev. Dr. Willard Ashley from CCDM, Rev. Lawrence Jay (Soul Care: For such a time as this), Rev. Cynthia Maybeck (Stories to Set Us Free), Rev. John French (God Continues to Call), followed by a panel discussion with all our morning speakers.

A wonderful lunch was prepared by the MIRAV family followed by workshops from Rev. Rebecca Driscoll (Creation Care workshop), Rev. Lawrence Jay (The Soul Care Process), and Rev. Kirk Byron Jones (Can You Come Out To Play? Becoming More Creative in Life and Ministry).

Then a Spirit-filled Worship Service and Communion followed by a powerful sermon by Rev. Dr. Kirk Byron Jones.
